We are also involved in raising support for victims of the ongoing war and the internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the Southwest, Northwest, West and Centre Regions through several programs:
Operation Back to School (to help children of internally displaced persons (IDPs) go back to school in their host communities. Here we need the contributions of individuals willing to stand with us to support 500 pupils and students to return to school during the 2023/2024 academic year that begins in September with school fees, uniforms, textbooks, exercise books and bag-packs.
Economics discipleship (as part of our servant leadership training to empower victims of war and internally displaced persons (IDPs) with knowledge and skills that will help them start and manage their own small and medium-sized businesses to support their own families. We do this through local churches that we work with. We are inviting concerned friends and partners interested in the economic empowerment of victims of war and internally displaced persons (IDPs) to join us in the capacity of a hundred families through 5 local churches hosting to participate each in 2023.
